This hidden treasure of a restaurant took my hart in the first bite, just beside the busy Sant Diego,s center this small dark Mexican food restaurant impressed me with its simplicity in flavor as well as the good prices !! 5 stars from me (if I ever re visit San Diego I will eat again )

This is the most classic staple of Authentic Mexican Food in San Diego, in California, in the United States!! Pokez Mexican Restaurant has been open since March of 1994 and since then has been shining as the best Mexican food around. They have had vegan and vegetarian options in their menu since then and still have the best of both worlds. Almost no one knows that the other restaurants who claim that they have good vegan/vegetarian mexican food, actually try replicating this homestyle, love-filled cooking. Stick to the traditional, delicious food and sit down and remember: good comes to those who wait.
